In an effort to improve the readiness and capacity of Micro, Small, and medium enterprises (SMEs), Adira Finance Syariah (Sharia Business Unit of PT. Adira Dinamika Multi Finance, Tbk) held a “business Mindset ” training for MSMEs under its guidance. This event took place at the Rumah Zakat Jakarta Hall, Matraman, on Friday, October 25, 2024.
The purpose of this training is to equip MSMEs with a more mature understanding of the mindset in doing business. By putting forward the principle that starting a business is not enough just with “reckless ” capital, the participants learned about the importance of planning, analyzing market potential, and self-readiness so that the business built can survive and develop, not just survive for a moment. This initiative arises from the need to ensure MSMEs can run their businesses sustainably without worrying about experiencing bankruptcy halfway through.
Guided by an experienced entrepreneur coach, Mr. Rizkison, this training highlights the fundamental difference between “doing business” and “selling” alone. According to Rizkison “ ” selling means we just sell and wait for buyers. If there are no buyers, just wait until they arrive. But if the business, meaning if there is no buyer, then we have to think and make a strategy how our products can be bought.” With this view, participants are encouraged to develop strategies that are active, innovative and oriented towards long-term success.
