Wax statue of Trump at Madame Tussauds placed in trash

The Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Berlin gave a new look to a statue of President Donald Trump now standing inside a trash can on Friday, a move apparently meant to reflect their expectations of next Tuesday’s U.S. presidential election.

Near the statue of Donald Trump surrounded by plastic filled with garbage, there is a wax statue of the previous President, Barack Obama, who stands tall with a smile. Unlike Donald Trump who gets a new place in the trash, the Obama statue stays in place, looking neat and radiant.

“Today’s activity is more symbolic ahead of the general election in the United States,” museum marketing manager Orkide Yalcindag said.

“We at Madame Tussauds Berlin moved the wax figure of Donald Trump in preparation.”

Madame Tussauds Museum also displays wax figures of past presidents of the United States.

A wax statue of President Joko Widodo is also in the collection of the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong.

Indonesian figures whose wax statues have entered the museum centered in London, England, were the first president of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno at Madame Tussauds Bangkok and Hong Kong, badminton legend Rudy Hartono in Singapore, and Anggun C. Sasmi in Bangkok, Thailand.
